Christian 4th Grade California Living History Program
Rock-N-Water Christian Adventure Camps provides a California Gold Rush camp specifically designed to compliment your 4th grade California history lesson plans. Located in Coloma California just down the river from Sutter's Mill (where James Marshall discovered Gold in the American River back in 1848) we will take your class on an adventure through time as we travel back to 1854 just after the height of the 49er goldrush. Your students and parents will come away from this field trip not only with a better understanding of what life was like back in the gold rush, but also with an understanding that God is more valuable than gold.
We travel through restored gold mines, Marshall Park, play games, make rope, dance, have fun, and pan for gold. We offer 3 trips to best fit your plan and budget, one night, two nights, and for those that are not yet ready to jump into an overnight campout, we offer a one night field trip too..

- Overnight Camp Out - Join us for an old fashioned campfire celebration with singing, dancing, and quiet time devotionals.
